Jim Johnstone is a problem solver. He specializes in getting his clients up and running on the latest Apple products and helping them get the absolute most from the products that they already own. Jim believes in making every client interaction a great learning experience.

Jim has been providing technical support and training for everything Apple since 2007. He is a Member of the Apple Consultants Network, a Certified Mac Help Professional and a Microsoft Office Support Professional for Mac. What he enjoys most about what he does is solving his clients’ technical problems and teaching them how to be more productive. His clients appreciate his patience, personable approach and ability to explain issues in non-technical jargon.
Helping people with technology and providing incredible customer service has long been a part of Jim’s professional life. Previous to working in Apple Tech Support, Jim was a manufacturer’s representative for sports equipment, including windsurfing and kite surfing boards. He demonstrated the equipment to store owners, which helped him truly understand the day-to-day challenges of small business owners. He also provided informal technical support to other sales team members, which led to the realization of how much he enjoys and excels at training and teaching.
A Marin County resident all of his life, Jim currently lives in Corte Madera with his wife and two sons. He graduated from Redwood High and subsequently earned his MBA from San Francisco State University. When he is not working with clients, Jim enjoys mountain biking, surfing and sailboat racing.
